Langtang Gosainkund Helambu Trekking

Langtang Gosainkund Helambu trekking is one of middle level trekkings. This trekking requires trekking experience and a good physical form.
This trekking covers Langtang valley, the pretty Langtang valleys, Kyanjin Monastery, view of Langtang, Ganesh himal, Lang sisa ri, Yabru himal, Dorje Lakpa/Dokpo, Langup, Morimoto peak. This trekking route follows along the Langtang river from Syarpa goan. Gosainkund is a very popular and holly lake in Hinduism and Buddhism. If the lake remain calm, it can be seen the image of Lord Shiva in middle the lake at buttom. People celebrate great festivals two times in a year. These festivals are very important in shamanism. There are other lakes more than 100 lakes. Among them Bhairab Kund, Saraswati kund, Dhudh Kund, Nag Kund, Surya Kund, Bhut Kund…etc. From Lauri Binayak pass Ganesh himal range and Langtang Lirung I and II, Manaslu, Nadgi Chuli and Nagdi Himal can be seen.
There are villages of mixed ethnics, Tamang villages and Sherpa villages. The route passes through forest and villages. Rhododendron blossom in March April. Beautiful landscape and Jugal Himal ragne can be seen from this route.

Day 04: Dhunche to Shyabru Bensi 2250m
Day 05: Shabru Bensi to Lama Hotel
Day 06: Lama Hotel to Langtang 3520m
Day 07: Langtang to Kyangin Gompa 3800m
Day 08: Kyangin Gompa ascension Tsergori peak 5020m back to Kyanjin
Day 09: Kyangin Gompa to Lama Hotel
Day 10: Lama Hotel to Shyabru
Day 11: Shyabru to Shingompa 3250m
Day 12: Shin Gompa to Gosainkunda 4380m
Day 13: Gosainkunda via Lauribinayak pass 4650m to Ghopte 3430m
Day 14: Ghopte to Melamchigaon: Melamchigoan, Sherpa village is one of very nice villages. Many year before Sangepa Ripoche has done retreat in this place. We call today guru Ripoche cave.
Day 15: Melamchigaon to Tarkeghyang
Day 16: Tarkeghyang day trip to Angri Ama.
Day 17: Tarkeghyang to Kakani
Day 18: Kakani trek to Melamchi and to Kathmandu bus night in hotel
Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 20: Transfer to airport
