Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek

Trekking in the region top of the world, Everest , Sagaramatha in Nepali and Chhomolongma in Tibetan is a popular destination for trekkers, explorers and climbers. It is also famous for its sherpa villages, monasteries and culture. Trekking in this area varies in 5 days trekking to month long among them Everest Base Camp Kalapathar and Gokyo lake treks are very popular. Fabulous sceneries and social life of Sherpa villages are another attraction of this region. Another attraction is Sagarmatha National Park for those people who are interested in the wildlife. The route passes through spectacular forests of blooming rhododendron in March April, blue pine and fir.

Trekking in Everest region, Jiri Everest Base Camp is breathtaking and requires a good walking experience and a good physical health codition. This trek is very interesting walking with its panoramic view of Everest 8848m, Cho Oyu 8152m, Lhotse 8516m, Makalu 8463m and Ama Dablam 6456m. through the famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Buddhist Monastery, Khunde Khumjung etc. Settlement of mixed ethnic group Brahman, Chhetri, Magar, Tamang in the low land and Sherpa in highland of Solukhumbu Everest region.
