Everest Sherpani Col Makalu Trek
CampingMera Peak is less difficult technically so it is popular to those people who has not long experience of climbing. Mr Roberts and Sen has first of all explored this peak in 20 May 1953. The trail to Mera peak crosses dense forest (pines, hemlocks, birches and luxuriant rhododendrons). Ascending on snow slopes up to summit.
After the summit back to Lukla same route or continue to Mingbola or Amphulaptsa la or Serapani col through Hunku valley and panch pokhari ( 5 lakes). Hongu and Hinku uninhabited valleys are grazing kharkas. Amphulaptsa and Mingbo la passes are considered technically difficult.
Trek proceeds toward Makalu base camp 3-4 days walking over 6000m on snow and over crevasses to east col, west col and sherpani col.
